Well, I only lost 1.6 lbs this morning but I had to remind myself that I am building muscle by taking these classes so I may be losing inches and toning but not see a huge difference on the scale anymore. Who knows. I think I will just stick to 3 week rounds since I lose the majority of the weight then anyways.
I am not going to zumba tonight as I can hardly move from zumba on tuesday and kickboxing last night! It hurts to go down the stairs and lets not even talk about how much it hurts to sit on the toilet!
Wonderful news! My mom woke up to a 5.8 lbs loss! I am very happy for her and I hope she will continue to do so well on it!
I think the most frustrating thing about working out is the fact that you don't lose very much weight because you are increasing your lean body mass and building muscle! I've been doing a lot of muscle-building exercises lately and noticed that my quads (front thigh muscles) are starting to bulge lol. I've never had a defined upper leg muscle in my life and it just feels so WEIRD.
ReplyDeleteI agree and that is why I am not fretting about not losing a bunch of weight. I know my bad fat weight is coming off and being replaced with muscle. I just wish I didn't hurt so bad! I soaked in the tub and that seems to have helped alittle... hopefully tomorrow will be even better!

ReplyDeleteThanks Erica! I hope all goes well for her too. She isn't taking her hormone anymore but I guess the doctor said she was taking so little anymore that she could stop and it wasn't really making much of a difference anymore. I hope she loses a ton of weight and can stick to it!!
